EMT Cash is not a bank, credit union, or financial institution. We do not issue loans, make lending decisions, set loan terms, or collect loan repayments.
Important: EMT Cash is a loan referral service only. We do not guarantee any loan approval, any specific loan amount, or any particular interest rate or fee structure. All lending decisions rest solely with the lender.
3. Eligibility
To use this Site and submit a loan inquiry, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Canada (citizen or permanent resident)
- Be at or above the age of majority in your province or territory (18 or 19 years old)
- Have a valid, active Canadian bank account
- Have a regular, verifiable source of income

5. We Are Not a Lender
This is a critical distinction. EMT Cash is a lead generation and referral platform only. When you submit an inquiry:
- Your information is transmitted to one or more third-party licensed lenders in our network.
- Those lenders independently review your information and decide whether to make you an offer.
- Any loan offer — including amount, rate, fees, and repayment terms — is determined solely by the lender.
- If you accept a loan offer, your agreement is with the lender, not with EMT Cash.
- All repayments, disputes, and account management are handled directly between you and the lender.
Lender licensing: All lenders in our network are required to hold applicable provincial lending licences. However, EMT Cash cannot guarantee the standing of any individual lender at any given time. We recommend verifying licensure with your provincial regulator.
Provincial Maximum Borrowing Costs
Payday loans are high-cost, short-term products. Provincial regulations set the maximum cost of borrowing per $100 loaned. Current regulated caps include:
